Finding My Stride

My Story of Running, Racing and Coaching.

2016 MingoMan Triathlon

In 2009, my journey as a runner began with tentative steps in my late 20's, born from the need to heal from injury. What started as a simple walk to ease the pain soon evolved into a passion for running—a journey that ignited within me a desire to embrace life, seize every opportunity, and strive to be the best version of myself. Running became more than just a physical activity; it became a transformative force, teaching me invaluable lessons and shaping my outlook on life. Running became one of my very best friends.

Since 2009, my running journey has taken me across countless roads and trails, spanning distances from 1 mile to 50k. Along the way, I've tackled sprint triathlons and even ventured into the realm of Olympic distance events. Even while I'm traveling, I make it a point to get out and run in different places. I love being able to say I've run in Mexico, Paris and London! In the process, I've earned the respect of my local running communities, for commitment to supporting and inspiring others to embrace adventure and push their boundaries.

My personal experiences as a runner, has contributed to my coaching style and philosophy, which is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and empowerment. I aim to guide my athletes not only to train smart and work hard but also to find joy, and humor in the journey of training. My goal is for each athlete to feel empowered to embrace courage, passion, and perseverance—to endure challenges with integrity and a whole lot of grit!

I hope to share the transformative power of running and inspire others to discover their own strength, resilience, and limitless potential.

Let's do this!
